BEACH HIGHWAY

BEACH HIGHWAY

Take a drive on the beach Highway. This highway is controlled by the Washington State Department of Transportation. As you leave Ocean Shores you will enter the beach on an access way and on that access way you will notice a sign that says welcome to the Washington State park. There are also beach laws and information posted there. Rules of the road apply to the State Park beach highway.

The Washington State Park Rangers and crew are doing an outstanding job at keeping the highway and State Park Park properties clean and beautiful. It’s rewarding to see this kind of leadership and support for the public.

The State Park is very large, consisting of the beach highway, upland grass and dunes, timbered sections, campgrounds, are just a few things that make up the State Park. The State Park is patrolled by the Washington State Park Rangers. They are some very nice patrol officers and will be happy to help you and answer any of your questions.

The Washington State Park Rangers are the Kings of the beach. They will be fair and honest with you.
